Cashmere Comes from Goats
Cashmere is the ultra fine fiber that Cashmere goats produce to stay warm in winter. The goats shed this undercoat in the Spring when it is no longer needed. All goats produce an undercoat but only Cashmere goats produce enough good quality fiber that is true cashmere.
